About Me
My name is Ethan Stern-Ellis and I am currently a freshmen at High Tech High International. During my 9th grade year, I will be taking Humanities, Math and Physics and Spanish. In Humanities I look forward to being taught how to write an essay as I know that will be an important skill to have for the rest of high school and all of college. In Math and Physics I can not wait to see what kind of projects we will be doing that involve physics. In my Spanish class, I hope to be able to take the AP test at the end of this year as I am fluent in spanish from having six years of education at Escuela Longfellow, a spanish immersion school. A skill I have that separates me from my peers is that I am a leader. This skill will help me when working in groups for a project. I can help bring the group together and inspire them to focus and do well on the task at hand. Outside of school I enjoy traveling and playing guitar. On the weekends I work at Congregation Beth Israel as a teachers' assistant. I also enjoy volunteering at Jewish Family Services where they run food drives for the homeless and people in need. I am extremely passionate about soccer and I play with Albion Soccer Club. In the future, I hope to attend UCSB and play with their soccer team.
